Kana (solar exalt)

Kana (whose actual name has the unfortunate tendency to be disregarded) was raised on Alphard IV, a technologically advanced world in the Frontier that is otherwise known for little other than space mambo sushi. Although attractive and profoundly intelligent, her quirky obsessions and propensity to be overwhelmed by the myriad possibilities she can see from moment to moment makes her come across much dumber than she actually is in the ordinary day-to-day situations of a safe and civilized planet. She lived alone and was an arts student, artist (no one on campus was ever quite aware of the staggering array of media she is proficient in) as well as fangirl and/or minutiae scholar of the varied and numerous things that strike the obsessive chord inside her.

One day, as she was sampling the resulting highs from different varieties of Alphardian sushi, there came a great and terrifying disturbance. At first she thought it was the effects of having eaten the legendary cosmic space mambo but it quickly became apparent that a violent battle was taking place, crashing down from orbit to surface. Arcs of energy cut apart skyscrapers and energy blasts turned nearby cityscape into a hell of burning wreckage. As a she was about to be crushed, the final combatants appeared: a crimson warstrider with enormous skull faces for a body and a tall, pale man with long white hair and a flowing black jacket.

At that moment, she felt true love blossom in her heart for That Man.

Though still trapped beneath wreckage, Kana witnessed the epic Exalted duel to the finish, transfixed until both sides vanished beneath waves of explosions. From That Man's outstretched hand flew a spark of golden light that flew out, swerved through the debris and embedded itself deep inside her. Since that day, she has left the comfort of her homeworld (with a considerable amount of luggage) and taken to wandering the galaxy. Somehow, she knows that That Man is still alove and her goal is to seek him out from the sea of stars and confess to him.
