Youkai (Maelstrom)

The Arcana are an exotic life form originating from somewhere in the Deliverance sector. Their existence is a growing rumor in nearby regions. According to leading theories, they are composed of strange matter and may originate either from the activation of a bizarre Dawn War weapon, one of several candidate strange stars, or a particularly dense clump or region of the dark matter disk itself.
