	A ~~mysterious~~ mercenary wearing a ~~peculiar~~ suit of ~~artefact armor~~ and ~~wielding~~ a ~~<s>lightsab</s>plasmic blade. Currently~~ in employ of Karalis ~~as an (exceptionally lethal) troubleshooter~~, ~~agent, investigator and guard unburdened with existing political connections in the Sevenstarinate and rather limited ability to make any. While~~ her ~~past is a bit murky, it does seem like she was involved~~ in a ~~pro-baseline revolutionary movement elsewhere, until the whole affair turned out to have been organized by the Deague and ended in a complete disaster that caused Aria~~ to ~~take flight and cut off all~~ her ~~past ties. Some might find this concerning~~, ~~but converts do seem to make for the fiercest believers~~..~~. or so the theory goes~~.		A suspiciously foreign suspicious mercenary wearing a suitably suspicious suit of armour, Aria is officially a scientist and a medical professional in recent employ of Karalis, although certain local scholars have called her “a butcher in a labcoat” more than once. Not to her face, mind you. Usually. Not necessarily only scholars, either.

	~~Typically operates alone and working with local Karalis assets on~~ her ~~missions~~, ~~whatever they may be~~. ~~Not much of a people person~~, ~~and~~ not ~~much of a leader of men~~, ~~for~~ that ~~matter~~, ~~but her individual fighting prowess is considered a bit terrifying~~.		Her past is somewhat unclear, although her artefact-armour is rather recognisable – golden Nemean Pelt, once worn by the elite guards of the Archonstellan of Nemea, the so-called Lions. However, Nemea is long ruined, the Archonstellan killed not long before the Peace aboard her planetoid, along with the Lions. Or so the usual story goes, at least. Most thus assume that Aria was once a salvager, who managed to skin the armour off one of the corpses scattered amongst the wreckage and started getting overly ambitious.

	~~Known for her strange "ribbon armor"~~, ~~rumored to have been "acquired" from~~ an ~~Exalt fallen in the chaos that swept through Milky Way. Formed of many pseudo-ribbons capable~~ of ~~independent movement covering~~ the ~~body in several layers, it can be folded~~ and ~~concealed under proper clothes rather easily~~, ~~as well as used as an offensive weapon in a pinch. Has a wide variety of useful additional functions~~, ~~such as life support~~ and ~~self-repair based on similar system~~ to ~~warship armor, as well as intellect~~ of its ~~own~~. ~~For all intents and purposes~~, ~~Aria is wearing her husbando. (waifu?) Might be~~ a ~~factor in why she's not much of a people~~ person~~. Her job hasn't exactly lent itself well to making friends, either, admittedly~~.		In truth, Aria was a Lion herself – an elite bodyguard of the Archonstellan and a fine-tuned killing machine that failed at her task utterly, but – by some miracle or curse – survived herself, and was left to fend for herself amidst the ruins of the planetoid and its escort fleet throughout the Peace. Fortunately, rations meant for millions were more than sufficient for a single person.

	~~Notes:~~		Three centuries of isolation and lack of human contact amongst the corpses of her comrades made Aria more than a little loopy. At first, her interest in science and engineering was a necessity, having to repair the few life support systems still intact enough to run, but in time it became a bit of an obsession – as a focus to avoid going <I>completely</I> crazy, at least.

	*has a ~~lightsaber~~		Thus, once the Peace ended, Aria managed to bash together a FTL-capable ship from the wreckage, for a very liberal definition of “ship”, and reinvented herself as a scientist after rejoining the society, feeling that her failure meant she no longer had the right to her old name or rank – a woman without a name and without history, waking up in a strange world.

			Currently, Aria is being sent as part of the 20th both to prove herself to Karalis. Officially to keep an eye out for any useful technology to be found and to keep the officers in good health during the campaign, but her true very particular set of skills remains very much available if it becomes needed.

			The Nemean Pelt itself is an artefact ribbon-armour, composed of many layers of metallic pseudo-ribbons, capable of independent movement – and, in a pinch, being used as cutting tools themselves. Bonded to the wearer through neural connection, it usually takes many years of training before they can properly use it. Capable of many useful additional functions, such as self-repair of both itself and the wearer, as well as folding itself up for concealment. Some even say that they harboured artificial intelligences of their own, but who can really tell by now, after the Peace?

			Most of the time, she’s covered up entirely by it – and yes, she does wear a labcoat over it - sometimes with the exception of her face. Originally quite pretty, for a baseline at least – her old master did want a bodyguard that would look good at social functions – but age, stress and general high levels of abuse left their mark. Has grey hair (which she usually dyes black, although nobody could mistake her for an Exalt). Usually quite cheery, even when really inappropriate. Hey, in the end, life can only get better, right?

			Fact: has a <s>lightsab</s>plasmic blade.

			Born into an ancient but impoverished patrician clan, young Stella grew up in the company of well-off baselines and Ur-Real Lizards before the fortune smiled upon clan Vindex allowing them to reenter proper Patrician society. Young Stella began the traditional rise through the ranks of Exalts making use of natural talents and abilities to hold several civilian and military posts before finding fame and glory the Septemius Campaign waged against several rouge warlords from the Archonate of Tyre. Stella was instrumental in the capture of the one of the warlords and while the lion’s share of the credit went to her commander, Stella was allowed the honors of both dragging the warlord in chains and executing him during the triumph. Fame and glory in Kralis is fleeting however and thus Stella finds herself a legate in search of an opportunity to advance.

			Stella stands slightly shorter than the typical Exalt and his purposefully dyed her hair blonde and wears light green contacts not only to make herself more approachable to those who she commands but also to throw off potential baseline or lizard rivals as to her exact nature. Stella chose the light green contacts base off a portrait she saw during a diplomatic mission to the Knights of the Phoenix purported to be one of the two personal champions of first Witch of Lust who remained in the LMC to rule in her stead. Stella found his eyes to be the most charming feature and choose to adopt them.

			Of Stella’s character it could be said that a duality exists. On one hand Stella is easily approachable and charming, able to joke and cavort with baselines and lizards and speak with them on their level. On the other hand Stella contains haughty, stern and dictatorial streak demanding complete obedience when required. These dual natures make Stella a bit unpredictable allowing her to be super protective of her troops in one instance only then to turn around and risk them on all on some dangerous plan that might net her more glory. Stella can also be said to be a perfectionist expecting the best both personally and from those who serve her. Having grown out of mean circumstance Stella gained a great deal of firsthand experience with baseline and lizard nature, however, she remains a firm member of the Inheritors.
